Yes – you have reached the Pfeiffer Center.

We have some exciting news!

Over the last few years, the Pfeiffer Center and the neighboring Fellowship Community’s Duryea Farm have worked together to unite and expand our farming and educational activities in a new cooperative endeavor, creating a mutually supportive association of work and community. We are proud to introduce to you Threefold Community Farm!

Our collaboration encompasses nine acres under cultivation, almost 30 acres of pasture and hay, Rockland County’s only cows and dairy, two draft horses, and a small apiary. Our Farm Leadership Team – Megan Durney and Kim Vaughan, mentored by Mac Mead – have established a biodynamic farm individuality in our suburban setting upheld by our ideals of caring for the land through biodynamics, providing educational opportunities and experiences for all ages and interests, feeding our neighbors and enriching community life.

Threefold Community Farm continues the Pfeiffer Center’s 25-year tradition of teaching and raising awareness of biodynamics through our internships, One-Year Part-Time Training in Biodynamics, annual Midwinter Intensive, and workshops. Our programs for children are built around creative opportunities for children to actively engage with the natural world with head, heart, and hands.

We welcome you to our new site to learn more about our work, programs and aspirations.
